The Seattle Chapter of SFTE is the Founding Chapter of the Society of Flight Test Engineers, which was started right here in Seattle in 1968 by engineers working on the original 737-100 flight test program.
The Chapter hosts a full schedule of events for our members, including Technical Dinners, where members give presentations or talks of interest to the membership; Happy Hours, where we gather socially to mingle and share our flight test stories; Tours and other special events; and our annual Holiday Party at the end of each calendar year.
In 2018 the Seattle Chapter celebrated its 50th Anniversary!
