Zhuhai Airshow is the largest in mainland China and has been held in even years in Zhuhai, Guangdong since 1996. It is part airshow, part aviation exhibition, and part arms expo. In this presentation we will talk about Boeing’s presence at the airshow, COMAC’s developing commercial aircraft and flight test programs, and the very broad range of UAVs that were on display. It’s a great chance to learn about the aerospace market in China.
Dr. Ken Fischer is a Systems Engineer and Boeing Associate Technical Fellow. Dr. Fischer holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering and Applied Math from University of Colorado as well as a M.S in Atmospheric Science and Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Atmospheric Science from University of Michigan. He is a member of SFTE and IEEE. Dr. Fischer has been with Boeing sine 2004 and currently works in Boeing Test & Evaluation supporting flight test programs for Derivative Aircraft.
